Message from the President

Michiyo Shimizu
Thank you for visiting the official website of Shimizu Glass Co., Ltd. Founded in 1923, our studio holds one of the longest and most distinguished heritages among Edo Kiriko workshops in Tokyo.
Today’s craftsmen have inherited the skills and thoughts of the first Naojiro Shimizu, who studied under Jinnosuke Imamura, a trainee at the Shinagawa Glass Factory of the Ministry of Industry.
Every piece of our Edo Kiriko is crafted with the utmost dedication. We sincerely invite you to experience the clarity and beauty of this tradition in your daily life.
